Viva Football only contains international teams, but the main appealing feature other than the gameplay will be the team selection process. You can play as any World Cup team since... ages ago, and better still your team will walk out wearing their kit from that world cup. And you can match up these teams against the modern teams in a true test, finally you can test weather the '66 England team could beat the '94 Brazil or '98 France world champions.
And along with the teams come the rules, if the team you are playing are a team before the '94 World Cup for example, don't be surprised to see the keeper picking up back passes.
